The Kind Hearts give back charity ball was a one day event for which I was a lighting tech. This included: building and breaking the lighting rig for the event, configuring fixtures and troubleshooting. The one day event hosted at the Royal Armouries in Leeds had a tight load in and load out schedule with limited equipment and cabling which meant I had to consider the placement of fixtures and work with the combination of 3 pin and 5 pin cabling to ensure it all worked together with a lack of adapters. The event was run from an Avolites T1 which limited me to one universe so fixture modes had to be considered to get the most functionality out of everything whilst still having enough addresses for everything. DMX buffers where used to split the data around the room to each truss and for the ground package.
