The Box was a projection, LED and lighting project that I designed, built and operated. It consisted of a large projection-mapped cube, using three projectors, surrounded by an LED wall and lighting fixtures.
Video was driven by an Avolites Ai media server, with a custom patch designed to manage the combined projector and LED canvas.
The photos shown are from the warehouse test build, as photos and videos could not be taken on site. The site itself added additional complexity, as control had to be located separately from the installation. We used fibre to carry four video feeds for the projectors and LED wall, network for control and lighting, and two return camera feeds so the operators could monitor the installation remotely.
